  • Shared room ×6: six bunks, mixed dorm, shared mixed bathroom, fan, terrace.

Natural adobe/bamboo/canvas construction and fans are the comfort model — not universal air conditioning or sealed silent rooms. The operator warns of occasional power outages, water shortages and bumpy access; they mention tanks, candlelit dinners and 4×4s as mitigation, not a guarantee of uninterrupted utilities or paved final access. Confirm the exact category, sole occupancy vs sharing a twin/double, and any accessibility needs on the written confirmation. Pets (if relevant) must be in a private room and leashed per destination copy.

Coaching levels, quantities and the duration-label conflict

That duration-label discrepancy is unresolved — do not invent a single clock time or total water hours beyond the course’s stated 10h / five-lesson framing. Group lessons are not available on Wednesdays; private lessons are any day by request/availability.

Free surf is described as unguided, with boards available for separate rental — not an automatic unlimited board entitlement from a room booking. Confirm damage liability (Nicaragua terms: guest replaces loss or serious damage from inappropriate use).

Yoga is a separate paid course menu (1 / 3 / 5 sessions) and is schedule-dependent around surf — not an automatic weekly inclusion with every bed.

Operator price table: low season May–October, high season November–April. Is this the same as the eight-day Dreamsea package on marketplaces?

It is the same operator’s lodge, but this page follows the current direct accommodation and course menu. The separately listed eight-day product has unresolved timetable/equipment conflicts with this menu (including Wednesday group-lesson rules and separate free-surf rental), so it is not advertised here as verified.

What bathroom do I get?

Doubles are published with a private (external) bathroom. Twin and shared×6 categories use a shared mixed bathroom. Confirm the exact category and occupancy on your confirmation; do not assume every “private room” has a private bath — twins do not.

Which course level and coach ratio should I book?

Level 0 Basics is published at 1:4, Level 1 Patterns at 1:3, Level 2 Details at 1:2, each framed as five water sessions totaling about 10 hours plus theory and the video/fitness/skate extras listed for that level. Match the level description to your ability; ratios are maxima for those tracks, not private one-to-one all week.

Why do lesson lengths look inconsistent?

The same destination page lists à-la-carte group lessons as both 2 hours (1.5h water + 30min theory) and 90mn. Five-lesson courses are framed as 10h with 5× 90mn water plus daily theory. That label conflict is left unresolved here — confirm water vs theory minutes on your quote rather than assuming a single clock time.

Are group lessons every day?

No. Current operator copy says group lessons are unavailable on Wednesdays. Private lessons are by request/availability. Align arrival day and course dates before buying flights.

Is board use outside lessons free?

Do not assume so. Lesson equipment is listed with lessons; independent board rental is a separate line. Free surf is described as unguided. Ask sizing, daily rate, independent-use limits and damage liability (terms place replacement for loss/serious inappropriate-use damage on the guest).

Can I arrange an airport pickup?

Yes as a paid, availability-dependent service from MGA, LIR or SJO. Costa Rican airports involve a border. Confirm whether the quoted amount is per vehicle (up to 4) or per person — both wordings appear on current operator materials — plus delay and board-bag plans.

What if my flight is late or I arrive separately from my group?

Send flight numbers, dates and party size before paying. Ask who meets you, how delays are monitored and whether separate arrivals cost extra. A single arranged vehicle does not automatically cover several flights.

Is surfing or swimming guaranteed to be safe?

No. Pacific currents and conditions change. Follow instructor assessment, avoid surfing alone, and carry insurance that covers surfing and medical care. A Level 0 beach is not automatically suitable on a large swell day.

What will the final price include?
