Conditions have been good to surfers of Padang Padang lately. Multiple swells along with favourable tides have produced more pumping days in the first two weeks of September than the preceding months combined.
Comparing different sessions isn’t a black and white deal, but the barrels on the 12th were some of the longest that we’ve seen at Bali’s best wave in 2020 and unlike some of the swells earlier in the year, it was really consistent.
Hopefully this isn’t the final hurrah for the year’s big dry season swells, but if it turns out to be the case, it would be a fitting way to cap off a great run of solid waves.
