September marks the backend of the dry season here in Bali. SE trade winds still prevail, but there can be a bit more variation compared to July and August.
Big swells are still fairly common during this time of the year, but usually a bit less so compared to the previous months.
This can be a good thing for most surfers, with more smooth and medium sized days at a spot like Uluwatu.
