Time & Place – What’s Canggu Like In June?

There’s generally no lack of swell in June for the breaks in Canggu. If anything it can be a bit too big for the banks and the shape suffers a bit.

So with plenty of swell on offer, it mostly comes down to the wind. The SE trade wind is cross-offshore and create some serious bump up the face. Sometimes it will blows all night/day, but there are usually a few hours in the early morning where you can score cleaner conditions.

Here’s some clips from June 2023 in Canggu to give you an idea of what to expect.
