Batu Bolong picks up quite a bit of swell, and since May can deliver medium to big swells it can often be a bit too big, especially on a long board.
So it’s usually a case of waiting for the smaller days to go and do some logging. The morning’s almost always deliver the best conditions wind-wise, so try and hit it early if you can.
