January is very much a hit or miss when it comes to surfing in Canggu.
If the wet season westerlies are dominant you can expect days or even weeks of onshore conditions on this side of the island. But it doesn’t always play out that way, as you can see from this footage which was filmed over eight sessions in January 2020.
