The current in front of the cave can run like a river, making it consistently the most difficult paddle back to the beach in Bali. It only happens at certain tides and sized swells, but if you happen to get the timing wrong there’s no arguing with this liquid treadmill.
The flips-side is a breezy paddle out of the cave. Just make sure you have enough fuel in the tank at the end of a long session out there.
