Confirm the exact unit, ensuite vs adjacent bath, and whether you are booking a single room or a whole suite. Do not assume every “family” label has the luxury ensuite deck. Spa/sauna/ice bath and a fifth autonomous suite are described as future/in-progress (spa delayed, aimed toward summer 2026) — not completed facilities for a current booking unless confirmed.

Nearest named beach: Messanges ~9 km / ~10 min drive; Moliets ~12 km; Vieux-Boucau ~14 km. Hossegor’s heavier banks (including big-wave reputation at spots such as La Nord) are a drive and a coaching judgment away — not a lodge-front beginner pool substitute. The heated pool is not ocean competence. Ask which beach fits your level on the day’s swell/tide/wind; Landes beachbreaks change with sandbanks and can produce strong rips.

Do I need a car?

The lodge strongly advises one. Beaches are a drive away and towns are spread out. No included airport pickup is established.

Can young children stay?

Do not assume so. The same official materials say under-10s are not accepted (rooms), under-5s are no longer accepted (FAQ), and children over 10 are welcome (terms). Obtain written acceptance for your children’s ages before booking.

Which bathroom layout do I get?
