Sitting closer to shore might feel like a weaker position in the lineup, but if a wave doesn’t stand up for the main pack it can be a great spot to pick off the ones that slip through.
A really nice sized swell arrived in groomed conditions for this session at Uluwatu earlier in the week, with good waves breaking up and down the reef.
