SE trade winds can kick in pretty early this time of the year, which isn’t great for Bali’s west coast breaks.
But there are still some mornings with light and variable winds, like this session from last weekend.
The wind stayed light for a couple of hours, giving surfers a short window of some quality conditions at the Sandbar and Rivermouth before a strong side-shore chopped things up.

The Sandbar had some of the smoothest conditions we've seen in a while, and with a bit of punch in the swell it was dishing up some short but hollow peaks for the early crew. 0:00 Intro 0:09 Dylan...
There was a bit of wind on it for this session in Canggu, but there was still pretty good shape and ample amount of stoke for the surfers that paddled out. 0:00 Giada Legati: @giadalegati - YouTube...
