Notice also how he talks about his brother doing big wave surfing and others, but never mentions he won the Eddie Aikau big wave competition, one of the most prestigious competitions around, that rarely ever happens because the waves have to be huge to call it. The year he won it was massive and was the last time they’ve held it.
