There’s nothing like stroking into a perfectly smooth wave. It also helps when you have a bit of room to move, which isn’t always the case at Keramas.
With strong westerly winds blowing out one side of the island, surfers flocked to Bali’s east coast, with Keramas being the most obvious option.
A fast moving incoming tide set the scene for some great waves on the weekend, and even though there weren’t as many barrels as you’d hope for on this kind of swell, there were plenty of great moments.
