There was a whole lot of hype leading up to this swell, and even though it may not have exactly delivered what we were expecting, there were still some huge waves – and it was definitely the biggest swell of the year so far.
The Bombie was mostly surfed by tow teams, with lots of big long rides. But it was Outside Corner that consistently produced the meatiest sections. And with a solid crew of chargers paddling, there was plenty of action and drama all morning.
