The Bukit’s long left-hand reefs and the island’s east coast rights are a serious drawcard for most surfers of Bali, but there are softer options, like Kuta Beach. And it was in a playful mood the other day, with some fun little left and right peaks up and down the beach.
The wind was light early on, but it swung onshore out of the south after about an hour. There were still a few fun ones after the wind went funky, but the early risers definitely had the best of it.
