November usually marks the start of the wet season here in Bali, and sure enough the last month was represented by plenty of wet season conditions, i.e rain, west winds and small swells.
Canggu and Kuta were the most consistent performers for the first half of the month, particularly in the mornings before the wind picked up.
But as the month wore on the west winds became more dominant, making for a lumpy sea on the west facing locations or clean but very small waves on the east coast breaks like Keramas.
Even so, there were still waves to be had for those willing to travel and keen enough for a bit of a grovel.
