September can still deliver big swells, but there’s usually a down-shift in size compared to August. So a break like Uluwatu will consistently have overhead to double overhead waves.
The SE trade wind can ease up a little, particularly towards the end of the month, so although you can expect daily offshores at Uluwatu, there’s more chance of some smooth morning sessions.
