This was the biggest swell of the year with some seriously big sets hitting Outside Corner and the Bombie.
The surfer at the start of the video copped a barrage of waves that pushed him down the reef, adding even more distance to an already mammoth paddle and draining the battery before even looking at a wave.
He eventually made it all the way out to the Bombie, pulling into the biggest barrel we’ve seen all year and coming out victoriously with a truck load of spit!
As the tide dropped, Outside Corner started really standing up, producing some big tubes for the late afternoon session.
