There were some very sizey sets during the last swell with the bigger sets breaking way out before steam rolling the the lineup.
But with the right positioning and a lot of patience, those bigger ones had a relatively soft take-off point and a long ride down the reef – as one surfer managed to do on a more than a few of them.
By late afternoon the swell had dropped off considerably, but with a dropping tide the Racetrack started producing some fun ones as well.
