With such a big playing field there’s a lot of chasing down waves and paddling into position at Uluwatu, especially on a day like this. So having a good read on the lineup – like how Ruben showed in the opening scene – is a huge advantage.
This was another solid swell, but with a fair amount of south in the wind there was some extra lump which made it trickier than usual.
