There’s longer waves, and definitely more consistent waves in Bali, but Padang Padang is home to the best wave on the Island.
There have only been a handful of days like this in 2019, which isn’t out of the ordinary because a big swell, direction, tide and wind all have to fall in line to produce what you’re seeing here.
The tidal variation wasn’t too extreme, but it went low enough with the bonus of a tide window that was open a little longer than normal.
As always there was a healthy crowd scratching at anything that moved, but I’ve seen bigger numbers and more drop-ins on days like this.
