Bali’s Longboarding HQ – Batu Bolong, 13 March 2021




It was the last morning before Nyepi, aka Silence Day – when everything shuts down for 24 hours – making it the last chance for surfers to nab a few waves here in Bali.

And so it wasn’t a big surprise to see a jam packed lineup at Batu Bolong, even for the early morning session. There was the usual mix of beginners and regulars tapping into the small but clean swell – and as you’d expect, the odd close call.
