Bali Surf Journal – July 2022

There was no shortage of solid swell during the month of July. We still haven’t seen a huge day so far in 2022, but Uluwatu’s Outside Corner and Padang Padang showed signs of life a couple of times.

The SE trades blew with a steady determination without going completely nuts, so it was a full month of groomed lines on the Bukit. There were a few mornings of really light wind, opening up options on the East coast, but they were short windows and few and far between.

Hopefully August will deliver the knock-out punch we’ve been waiting for swell wise. It’s the most likely of the best chance of scoring a really big day before the season starts tapering down slowly.
