Without too much swell to work with, surfers had to hit the road if they wanted to surf regularly in December.
But there were some nice moments for those willing to make the effort. Some light wind mornings on the west coast produced some fun sessions, and the east coast consistently had offshore winds, so it was just a case of waiting for the swell to be big enough for breaks like Keramas.
