The first half of the month delivered some good swells and variable winds, meaning there were plenty of places to choose from on all coasts.
There weren’t any really big days with nothing solid enough for the contest at Padang Padang to run this year.
The second half of August saw a general downturn in size and an uptick in wind, with the SE trades blowing steady most days.
Hopefully September will produce a proper dry season swell. We haven’t seen the Bombie or Outside Corner in full swing this year, so if it’s going to happen this will likely be the last chance for that kind of swell.
