Medewi Surf School's 'Blue' week is designed for the in-between stage – you can stand up in the whitewater and want to start catching unbroken green waves. Coaching is small-group and based at Brown Sugar Surfcamp on Bali's quiet west coast.
Waves and surf spots
Sessions use the most suitable spot of the day around Medewi, including the Diva beach break and the long, mellow Medewi Point left, with spot introductions so you understand where and why you're surfing.
A typical day and lessons
Small-group coaching sessions with spot introductions, weekly video analysis, surf photos and duck-dive training in the pool.
Accommodation and food
A week at Brown Sugar Surfcamp in a bungalow or villa with private bathroom. Breakfast is included daily, with a Saturday BBQ.
Getting there
Fly into Denpasar (DPS), about 55 km away. Airport transfers and local shuttles are included.
